Directions
Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: To help your dog maintain an ideal body condition and stay healthy, adjust the amount of food based on their age, activity, and environment. Start with the following guidelines for an average, active, adult dog fed once daily.
Feeding Weaning Pups: As puppies begin to nibble solid foods (typically around 3 – 4 weeks of age), introduce them to dry or moistened Pro Plan.
Feeding Growing Pups: Pups up to six months should be fed all the Pro Plan they can consume throughout the day, either moistened or dry. Pro Plan can be left out for them to eat as needed.
Feeding for Reproduction: Reproducing females need extra nutrition during gestation and lactation. During pregnancy, feed the amount necessary to maintain their ideal body condition. During lactation, food intake may increase two to four times.
Making the Switch to Pro Plan: To keep your dog’s tummy happy, switch to Pro Plan gradually over 7 – 10 days. Slowly replace a little of their previous food with Pro Plan to allow for a smooth transition and avoid digestive upsets.
Each meal should be accompanied by fresh, clean water. For your pet’s health and well-being, we encourage regular check-ups with your veterinarian.
Your dog’s digestive health is important, and with every meal, you’re giving them the best. Because your pet deserves a food that cares as much as you do.
